Food For Thought
The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle is a full-service bed and breakfast. Overnight stays include a gourmet breakfast featuring pastries, muffins or sweetbreads, seasonal fruit, a selection of cold cereals, a daily yogurt bar or parfait, fruit juices and a choice of hot entrees. We make every effort to locally source items in ways that promote sustainable and organic practices. Our teas are certified organic and our coffees are Rainforest Alliance Certified, specially roasted for us by Tree Frog Coffees.

 Box lunches and snack offerings are available for purchase daily and can be delivered to guest rooms or even to locations throughout the park including the beach, marina or picnic pavilions.  Although the Inn does not have a restaurant, a variety of dinner options are available. The Inn staff is available to assist you in planning for that meal.  We're glad to provide referrals to local restaurants, directions to the local market or even a specially tailored “grocery basket” which might include prepared salads, locally sourced seasonal vegetables, fruits, cheeses and even items for you to prepare on the Inn's patio grilling station.

More Than A Night’s Rest
The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle is far more than a fine place to stay. We’re proud to say it’s also an outstanding interpretive and educational facility for the people of Pennsylvania and beyond.  Through a series of specially designed exhibits, we're able to promote and encourage the important concepts of environmental stewardship, conservation and sustainability.  The Innkeeper and staff are well versed in our green building systems and are always glad to share how the Inn operates – extending our original vision, design and LEED certification to ongoing operations and maintenance.
